Living Willow
can be planted from winter through to early spring. The willow rods
easily take root and produce fresh leaf growth as early as late Spring,
providing dappled shade within sculptural dens, play tunnels and arbors.
Willow is also effective for decorative screening and arches as well
as living sculptures. I am interested in producing innovative structures
and sculptures from the flexible living rods using the beautiful greens,
reds and yellow varieties available. Larger Projects are undertaken within my partnership with fellow artist Helen Adshead as our company Greenscope. |
